This week is National Staffing Employee Week and TeamPeople is featuring a few of our amazingly talented employees! Given our company’s name being “TeamPeople,” you can assume that we believe it’s the people that make a team successful. Lucky for us, we had a hard time deciding who to highlight this year because we’re proud of all our employees and as our team is growing, we’re gaining more and more superstar talent! However, there are a few that continue to shine brighter than ever. So who are we highlighting first? Michael Peizer! Who is a Communications Technician at one of TeamPeople’s on-site contracts. Q: What was the first job you ever had?

A: My first job was mowing lawns.  That’s right, I was an entrepreneur.  I used an electric lawnmower because it was quieter and I never had to pay for gas, thus maximizing my profit!

Q: How did you become interested in the production industry?

A: It all started in elementary school.  I set up and ran the film projector in class.  In high school I was co-president of the stage crew.  I got my degree in broadcasting and film and I’ve been in the business ever since.

Q: What is the best thing about working for TeamPeople?

A: The support from and the communication with TeamPeople is fantastic.  You guys may not be able to fix everything, but I know you listen and you care and do your best to make things right.

Q: What is the professional accomplishment you are most proud of?

A: I was a shooter for a documentary called, “To Bear Witness”, a doc about the first reunion of the liberators of the WWII concentration camps and the people they liberated.  It was powerful stuff and changed my life.

Q: What do you think is the greatest invention or development in the industry?

A: The DSLR changed film making forever.  Now more filmmakers can make movies that look good.

Q: What is your favorite workplace saying?

A:  You can have it fast, good or cheap.  Pick two
