Work with producers and clients to technically execute the digitizing, editing and delivery of SD and HD corporate video stories and events.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform technical editorial functions including rough cuts, graphic design & integration, audio sweetening, and export of projects in various formats
  • Be constantly vigilant throughout all projects for correct details and accurate program content
  • Interface with client and producer; work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and offer creative solutions for each project as requested
  • Troubleshoot production equipment to ensure proper functionality for the day’s shoot or edit, perform basic troubleshooting and minor engineering of edit suite and media storage system
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient with Avid Media Composer
  • Experience with Interplay is a plus
  • Command of modern digital video production, equipment and processes
  • Excellent visual storyteller
  • Familiarity with Motion Graphics programs such as After Affects
  • Customer service orientation; Professional presence and superior client relationship skills. Ability to work effectively with senior management, corporate executives and production colleagues in a formal environment
  • Extreme attention to detail 
  • Energy, enthusiasm, initiative
  • Willing to undergo background check

 
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video/Film Production, Communications or related field is preferred
  • 4+ years editing experience (corporate video preferred, new media, broadcast)
  • Candidates must have reel/samples available online/electronically for review
