Talent Spotlight: Systems Media Tech

At one of TeamPeople’s longest on-site managed contracts, Joe is a Systems Media Tech and supports one of the most well-respected international organizations in the world. From TeamPeople sweatbands to mic checks and salsa dancing, Joe’s story is anything but boring.

Q: What was the first job you ever had?
A: Working at the bank is my first full-time job. Before that I worked part time, I was fortunate to land two jobs at the same time. One was a game associate at Gamestop and the other was at a music store.

Q: How did you become interested in the production industry?
A: When I was sixteen I walked into a recording studio for the first time and was blown away. The rest is history.

Q: What is the professional accomplishment you are most proud of?
A: Being in the same room with professionals and gaining their respect is the ultimate accomplishment. Also the paycheck doesn’t hurt.

Q: What is the best thing about working for TeamPeople?
A: The swag. For reals, have you seen the sweat bands?

Q: What is the personal accomplishment you are most proud of?
A: Two years ago I had no idea where I was going to end up. Moving away from Texas for love and starting from scratch in a new place is a scary feeling, but everything has worked out so far. I’ll chalk that up as an accomplishment.

Q: Name one thing about you that not too many people know about you.
A: I’m quite the salsa dancer. No lie.
